Romanian holocaust survived Torah Scroll

Origin and Date

This Torah scroll was brought from Romania by the government of Israel on 1966 and was given to a synagogue in south Israel. Recently the synagogue was closed and sold this Torah to us.

Please look in the pictures below where there is a stamp from the religious ministerial office of Israel shows this Torah comes from Romania on 1966. Beside the stamp on the Torah the style of writing matches exactly the style used in Romania before the Holocaust. The script is Chasidic style since in the aria of Romania people were Chasidic.

The Torah is overall in good condition but will require extensive detail work in order to make it kosher. We recommend this Torah for restoration project or for holocaust memorial sefer Torah Scroll.
